**New Swim Start Announced for 2015**
We have decided to format the swim a little different this year.
 Here are the details...
Wave 1 - elite wave (any athlete wishing to start in a wave)
Wave 2 - all relay swimmers
All other participants will be seeded based on when they registered and start in a time trial format. For any individual participants wishing to participate in the wave start, the elite wave is only way to do so. All others will begin one at a time, every 3 seconds apart, in a time trial format.

.5 mile swim ~ 18 mile bike ~ 4 mile run

The Vicksburg District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the Directors of The Memphis in May Triathlon invite you to discover Sardis Lake, one of North Mississippi's four Corps operated reservoirs. The lake provides a variety of outdoors recreational opportunities including fishing, hunting, camping, picnicking, boating, hiking and of course The DragonFlyTri.

The DragonFlyTri was started in 1990 by founder Tommy Weeks, who while riding across the Dam on a training ride, was swarmed by a flock of dragonflies. Well, the dragonflies really did not swarm him, but did ride with him for a while, and they probably are not called flocks, but Tommy did come up with the idea of the DragonFlyTri on that ride.
